CDC: Registration of 34 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 262 million

34 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$262 million were registered by the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia in November 2025.

In November 2025, the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia decided to register a total of 34 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$262 million and the potential to create approximately 24,000 jobs. Of the total investment projects, 22 investment projects are located outside the special economic zones with an investment capital of approximately US$196 million and 12 investment projects are located in the special economic zones with an investment capital of approximately US$66 million.

 In the first 11 months of 2025, the CIC decided to register 609 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$9.5 billion, an increase of 220 investment projects, or approximately 57%, while the investment capital increased by approximately US$3 billion, or approximately 47%, compared to the same period in 2024. It is noteworthy that compared to the investment projects registered in 2024, which were only 389 projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$6.5 billion. In these 11 months, the CIC registered 195 more investment projects than the investment projects registered in the entire year 2024.

The prominent investment projects for November 2025 are as follows:

A. Outside the Special Economic Zone

Agriculture and Agro-Industry

Investment Project to Establish an Agricultural Processing Plant and Produce Food from Agricultural Products

• Location: Sameakki Monichey District, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$31 million

• Job creation: 675 jobs.

Industry

Investment Project to Establish an Animal Feed Factory

• Location: Sameakki Monichey District, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$25 million 

• Job creation: 518 jobs.

Infrastructure

Investment Project to Establish a Dry Port

• Location: Kamchay Mear District, Prey Veng Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$20 million 

• Job creation: 66 jobs.

B. Inside Special Economic Zone

Industry

Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Manufacture all Kinds of Cranes and Steel

• Location: Sihanoukville Port Special Economic Zone, Sihanoukville Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$25 million 

• Job creation: 300 jobs.
