CDC: Registration of 37 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 570 Million

37 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$570 million were registered in Cambodia in May of 2026.
In May 2026, the total investment projects registered in Cambodia, both by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the Capital-Provincial Investment Sub-Committees (PISC), were 37 with a total investment capital of approximately US$570 million and could create approximately 26,000 jobs. Of the 37 investment projects, 29 with a total investment capital of approximately US$544 million and could create approximately 23,000 jobs were registered by the CDC, including 16 investment projects outside special economic zones, 2 projects to establish special economic zones, and 11 investment projects in special economic zones. In particular, 8 projects registered by the PISC were 27 million with a total investment capital of approximately US$26 million and could create approximately 2,200 jobs.

Agriculture & Agro-culture Industry
Investment project to establish a monkey farm and breeding
Location: Kampong Svay District, Kampong Thom Province
Approximate investment amount: US$40 million
Job creation: 282 jobs.
Industry
Expansion project to expand production and add a cement factory
Location: Dang Tong District, Kampot Province
Approximate investment amount: US$210 million
Job creation: 512 jobs.
Infrastructure
Investment project to establish a special economic zone
Location: Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province
Approximate investment amount: US$116 million
Job creation: 518 jobs.
Investment project to establish a special economic zone, Cambodia Digital Park
Location: Chroy Changvar District, Phnom Penh
Approximate investment amount: US$42 million
Job creation: 2,080 jobs.
