CDC: Registration of 43 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 752 Million

43 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$752 million were registered by the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia in January 2025.

In January 2026, the Cambodia Investment Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia decided to register a total of 43 investment projects with a total investment capital of US$752 million, which can create approximately 26,000 jobs. Of the total investment projects, 35 are located outside the special economic zones and 8 are located in the special economic zones. In January 2026, the registration of investment projects decreased by 25 projects, equivalent to approximately 37%, while the investment capital increased by approximately US$3.4 million, equivalent to approximately 0.45%, compared to the same period in 2025. However, it is worth noting that in January 2026, the Cambodia Investment Committee registered a number of major investment projects, such as the investment project to establish three special economic zones with an investment capital of US$260 million and the investment project to develop a 150-megawatt wind power plant with an investment capital of approximately US$200 million.

A. Outside the Special Economic Zone

Infrastructure
Investment Project to Develop a Wind Power Generation Station with a Capacity of 150 Megawatts

• Location: Sen Monorom City, Mondulkiri Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$200 million

• Job creation: 42 jobs.

Industry

Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Produce all Kinds of Fabrics

• Location: Kien Svay District, Kandal Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$25 million

• Job creation: 1,820 jobs.

Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Produce Noodles and Ingredients for Noodles

• Location: Kong Pisey District, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$23 million

• Job creation: 804 jobs.

Investment Project to Establish a Factory to Produce Canned Fish and Fish Sauce

• Location: Damnak Chang-Ear District, Kep Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$7 million

• Job creation: 171 jobs.

Infrastructure
Investment Project to Establish a Special Economic Zone in Kampot, Fujian

• Location: Chum Kiri District, Kampot Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$120 million

• Job creation: 237 jobs.

Investment Project to Establish Special Economic Zone KP Yong

• Location: Bokor City, Kampot Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$65 million

• Job creation: 291 jobs.

Investment Project to Establish Special Economic Zone Phnom Penh Logistics and Industrial Complex (Cambodia Superport)

• Location: Chbar Mon City, Kampong Speu Province

• Approximate investment amount: US$75 million

• Job creation: 340 jobs.
