CDC: Registration of 42 Investment Projects with a Total Capital of Approximately USD 222 Million

42 investment projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$222 million were registered in Cambodia in April of 2026.
In April 2026, the total investment projects registered in Cambodia, both by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and by the Capital-Provincial Investment Sub-Committees (PISC), amounted to 42 projects with a total investment capital of approximately US$222 million and could create a total of approximately 24,000 jobs. Of these 42 investment projects, 23 investment projects (13 outside special economic zones, 10 inside special economic zones) were registered by the CDC with an investment capital of approximately US$158 million and could create approximately 18,000 jobs.
The prominent investment projects in April 2026 are as follows:
A. Outside the Special Economic Zone
Agriculture & Agro-culture Industry
Investment project to establish a fruit tree farm and build a processing factory
Location: Banan District, Battambang Province
Approximate investment amount: US$20 million
Job creation: 174 jobs.
B. Inside Special Economic Zone
Industry
Investment project to establish a factory to produce and process oil for vehicle tires and oil for rubber products
Location: Xin Bavet Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng Province
Approximate investment amount: US$9.6 million
Job creation: 350 jobs.
